Ascend App Notice to On-Campus families

Dear On-Campus Families,

Duke School appreciates your continuing commitment to the health and safety protocols including the use of the Ascend App.

As you are no doubt aware, the Ascend App is currently not functioning. Base Camp Health implemented a new process last week and are having technical difficulties. They are working diligently to fix the issues. We hope the app will be functioning by the time you need to access it tomorrow. However, if it is not, please perform your own health assessment by answering the following questions:

Has anyone in your household been exposed to anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days?

Has anyone in your household tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days?

Has the student had any of the following symptoms in the past 24 hours:

Runny nose/sneezing

Shortness of breath

Loss of smell or taste

Muscle pain

Vomiting or nausea

More than 3 loose stools

Sore throat

Loss of appetite

Temperature exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit

If you answer no to all of the above, your child can come to campus. If you answer yes to any of the above, please keep your child home and contact your division office.

Thank you.
