January Carline Updates

Dear On-Campus Parents -

Today we wanted to let you know about some carline updates for both morning and afternoon. We are going to augment the drop-off and pick-up times, shortening the waves. These changes will be begin, Wednesday, January 20.

Morning Carline:

  • 8:00-8:30am

  • All students can be dropped off at any time between 8:00-8:30am.

  • Students and parents, who are walking children into the preschool building, are reminded to keep 6 feet distancing in mind.

  • Students will continue to have the temperatures checked each morning

Afternoon Carline:

  • Carline waves will be shortened to 10min blocks.

  • You will remain in your current wave group, but the time is slightly adjusted

  • If you have forgotten your wave, please email:

And a few reminders for carline:

  • Afternoon Early Arrival - if you arrive early to your wave time, you may be asked to park so that the carline can continue to move forward.

  • Name Sign - please have your carline name sign on your “PASSENGER SIDE” dash each day as you move through carline. Please keep the sign visible until your child is in the car. If you need a new sign, please let us know.

  • Atypical Adult Pick-up - if someone is going to pick up your child that is not on your emergency form, please let teachers know as soon as possible.

  • Cell Phones - for the safety of all, please refrain from using your cell phone during carline.

  • Reminder Shares - please share these updated times with anyone who might be picking up your child (grandparents, babysitters, etc).

  • Curbside - children should exit and enter cars on the curb side only. There is moving traffic in the second lane, ergo it is not safe for children to exit on the driver side.

  • Late Pick-up - If you are late to pick up your child, please pick your child up from the division office.

  • Late Drop-off - If you arrive after the Temp Check Team has left the carline area, please bring your child to the division office for their temperature check before you walk them to class.

  • These changes will be begin, Wednesday, January 20.

At the Lower School, we would welcome a few volunteers each afternoon to help load students into their cars. Please SIGN UP HERE if you would like to help!

As always, thank you for your help and support.

Jenny and Nicole
